Police: Woman shot, seriously injured during carjacking near 50th & Locust

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Police are investigating a shooting in which a 53-year-old Milwaukee woman was seriously injured. The suspect(s) got away with the victim's car, police say.

It happened just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21st near 50th and Locust.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and though she was seriously injured, she is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect(s) stole the woman's 2007 red Chrsyler Pacifica SUV.
