Power restored to thousands on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- More than 8,000 We Energies customers were without power -- mostly on Milwaukee's south side -- for a short while on Tuesday morning, September 10th. But that power has been restored.

According to the We Energies Outage Map, the outage appeared to be centered near Howard and Clement.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
