Precious video shows Koko the gorilla falling in love with kittens
Koko, a gorilla famous for learning American Sign Language, adopted two precious kittens and it has "energized her world."
According to PIX11, on July 4th, for Koko's 44th birthday, she was presented with a litter of kittens to play with.
In a YouTube video posted by kokoflix, Koko is seen selecting the kittens she'd like to adopt. The kitties, dubbed Ms. Gray and Ms. Black, immediately shared a connection with Koko, crawling around her and styling her fur. In return, Koko, signs to her caretaker to place one of the kittens on her head.
Koko's caretaker immediately knew these three had to be together, so Koko was able to adopt the kittens to have as her own.
Kittens have been around Koko before, she's owned multiple kittens throughout the years, nurturing them as if they were her own babies. Koko adopted her first kitten in 1984 -- also on her birthday. The gorilla has always loved babies but has never been able to have one of her own.
We can't help but fall for all the cuteness in the video-- watch it here:
