Quick turnaround on Braun MVP shirts at Brew City Apparel

Brewers' fan favorite Ryan Braun now holds the National League's top honor for a single player, after being named NL MVP Tuesday, and just a few hours after the announcement, Brew City Brand Apparel got to work hand-pressing commemorative t-shirts.

The team at Brew City came up with a quick design Tuesday, a combination of Beast Mode, and the MVP honor. Brew City Brand Apparel Co-Owner Frank Keppler said as soon as he heard the announcement, he raced into the design room and got started. "Anytime something happens in Milwaukee that is positive, it's just fun to react so fast. When you have printing presses in-house, and you have a design staff in-house, it's fun to kind of challenge yourself to see what can make it out into the marketplace," Keppler said.

Braun t-shirts have been a top seller for Brew City in the past, and they sold hundreds at Summerfest this year. On Tuesday, less than an hour after the design was finalized, the shirts were ready for purchase at the Milwaukee Public Market. Miller Park has ordered MVP shirts as well, and those shirts will have a picture of Braun and his signature. They hope to have the shirts in the store by Friday.
