Race for US Senate: Russ Feingold to square off against Scott Harbach in primary

Russ Feingold will square off against political newcomer Scott Harbach Tuesday, August 9th in the primary election -- for a chance to face Senator Ron Johnson in the November election.

"I obviously am not taking this for granted. A week ago we went to seven different cities across the state to make sure that in all the different media markets that people first, knew there was primary and secondly, that they could early vote," Feingold said.

Feingold lost his U.S. Senate seat to Johnson six years ago.

He has raised more than $15.5 million in this latest bid to get that seat back.

As the lone Republican candidate, Johnson does not have a primary Tuesday.
