Racine Co. man arrested for lewd & lascivious behavior

RACINE CO. (WITI) -- The Racine County Sheriff's Department is investigating a report of suspicious circumstances at a group child care and preschool.

On Friday, April 13th, the Sheriff's Detective Bureau was called to the facility in the Village of Rochester. The owner of the child care facility reported several parents had informed her of being watched and possibly photographed by a neighbor as they dropped their children off.

The owner began to observe the neighbor standing in the window watching children with binoculars as they entered the day care facility. The suspect was observed to be standing nude at his bedroom window watching children with binoculars.

On Saturday, April 14th, Racine County Sheriff’s Office Detectives executed a search warrant on the suspect's home. He was taken into custody and arrested for multiple counts of Exposing a Child to Harmful Materials and Lewd & Lascivious Behavior.
