Racine County Sheriff's deputy saves the life of woman choking in Union Grove
RACINE -- Official with the Racine County Sheriff's Office tell FOX6 News a deputy was able to save a woman's life using the Heimlich maneuver on Wednesday, October 12th.
The deputy was in the area near 11th and Vine when a choking incident was called in.
It was reported that a 53-year-old woman's lips were turning blue, and food was coming out of her nose when the deputy arrived.
The woman refused transport to a hospital after the deputy successfully used the Heimlich maneuver on her.
