Racine police: 33-year-old man shot, injured near LaSalle & Albert, suspect sought
RACINE -- Racine police are seeking the suspect responsible for a shooting that occurred Monday night, September 21st
Racine police responded to the area of LaSalle and Albert Street just before 9 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, a 33-year-old gunshot wound victim, was located at his girlfriend’s home in the 1400 block of LaSalle Street.
The victim reported that he was driving though the area when an unknown black male slapped the hood to his vehicle. The victim stopped his vehicle and an argument ensued with the suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and fired multiple rounds at the victim, who was struck once.
The victim was transported to Wheaton Franciscan Health Care by Racine Fire Department for treatment of the wound.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’05”, having wavy hair wearing a black hoodie and blue jogging pants.
