Racine police: 41-year-old man shot, killed near 10th & Grand
RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday night, December 11th.
Police responded to a report of shots fired and a man down in the area of 10th and Grand around 11 p.m.
Responding officers discovered the victim, identified as 41- year-old Maurice Carter from Chicago, suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Racine Police have arrested three people in connection with the homicide -- Bobby Henderson Jr., Travenn Webster and Daimon Jackson Jr.
The three suspects are being held at the Racine County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
