Racine police: 88-year-old man killed in head-on crash near 16th & Lathrop
RACINE (WITI) -- An 88-year-old Racine man was killed in a head-on crash Monday, November 17th.
According to authorities, the 88-year-old man crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on near 16th and Lathrop Avenue. The vehicle he struck was driven by a 17-year-old girl from Racine. She did not require medical attention.
Rescue responded and the man was transported to Wheaton Franciscan for emergency treatment. He was transferred to Froedtert Hospital for further care. Later in the evening Racine Police were notified that the man passed away at Froedtert.
This accident remains under investigation.
