Racine police investigating daytime burglary trend
RACINE -- Racine police announced via their Facebook page Wednesday, July 11th a possible emerging daytime burglary trend in an area from S. Memorial Dr., west to Taylor Av. and from Durand Ave. north to 21st Street.
Police say three burglaries were reported on July 5th and 6th in this area.
All three burglaries occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., according to police.
Police say a rear/side door or window were broken to gain entry and valuables were then removed. Residents were not at home during the burglaries.
Police officials do not have suspect description(s) at this time.
