Racine police quickly apprehend four Kenosha men accused in bank robbery

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police have arrested four people in connection with the robbery of a TCF Bank branch that occurred on Monday, November 10th.

The robbery occurred on Monday evening, just before 6:30 p.m. at the TCF Bank on Douglas Avenue.

Police have arrested four men from Kenosha -- ages 20, 19, 17 and 16.

Police say one of the suspects entered the bank on Monday evening and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled the scene.

Five minutes later, police located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop that vehicle -- but the vehicle fled. A pursuit then began.

Police say the suspect vehicle stopped in the 2400 block of Lorraine Avenue and three of the four occupants fled on foot.

After brief foot pursuits, all four individuals were taken into custody.

No one was injured -- and police say no weapons were displayed or recovered.
