Racine police: Two people injured after being struck by armed robbers
RACINE -- Two people were hurt in a home invasion and robbery in Racine late Monday, March 14th.
Racine police say officers responded to the home on Fairview Tr. just before 11 p.m. on Monday regarding a report of shots fired and a person dead. Officers found that no one had been shot, but two people were suffering from injuries due to being struck with a handgun. One shot was fired in the house, but nobody was struck.
The preliminary investigation indicates five adults were in the home when a robbery occurred. The adults were robbed by three unidentified Hispanic males armed with handguns. Two adults were beaten by a handgun when they refused to give the suspects money.
