RacineTMZ: Family of six pulled from boat suffering engine trouble in Racine Harbor
RACINE -- Officials with the "RacineTMZ" Facebook page on Saturday afternoon, July 9th posted photos of a rescue that took place Saturday in the Racine Harbor.
According to the RacineTMZ officials, a family of six was on board the boat -- three adults and three children.
The boat apparently suffered engine trouble, and waves pushed it onto the rocks along Pershing Drive.
Everyone on the boat was rescued, thanks to officials with the Racine Fire Department, Racine Police Department, Racine County Sheriff's Office and several citizens.
As the photos below show, the boat would eventually sink below the water.
It remained tied to a boulder along Pershing Drive after this rescue.
It is not believed anyone was hurt in this incident.
