Rep. Gwen Moore to speak at Democratic National Convention

MADISON — U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore of Wisconsin is slated to address the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week.

Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Convention Committee announced a list of elected officials Thursday who will speak in addition to those already announced.

Moore, who represents Wisconsin's 4th Congressional District, is the only Wisconsin official on the list of more than 60 elected officials. The list includes prominent Democratic mayors, legislators and governors.

The DNC will take place in Philadelphia from July 25 to July 28. Additional speakers will be announced throughout the week.
