Right lane on SB I-94 near Puetz Rd. closed due to diesel spill

OAK CREEK (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office deputies closed the far right lane on southbound I-94 south of Puetz Road early Thursday morning, May 9th following a diesel spill.

According to authorities , the spill was the result of a crash involving two semi-trucks. Officials say one of the trucks leaked approximately 50 gallons of diesel fuel.

The Oak Creek Fire Department is on scene dealing with the diesel spill.

The lane closure is expected to last approximately 2 hours.  The County Highway department has been requested to assist with the lane closure.

The middle and left lane on southbound I-94 near Peutz Road will remain open.
