Romney visit to Wisconsin includes stop in Janesville

MADISON (AP) -- Republican Mitt Romney plans to campaign at a Janesville manufacturer on Monday, June 18th as part of his six-state bus tour.

A source close to the Romney presidential campaign who requested anonymity because the campaign had not officially released the details said Thursday, June 14th that Romney will be at Monterey Mills in Janesville.

The source says U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, who is from Janesville and a potential vice presidential pick, will also appear with Romney.

Romney's bus tour begins Friday, June 15th in New Hampshire and concludes Tuesday, June 19th in Michigan.

The Wisconsin stop marks the first time Romney has campaigned in the state since winning the primary in April. It comes less than two weeks after Republican Gov. Scott Walker won a recall election, bolstering Republicans' hopes for the presidential race.
