A popular pool in Massachusetts is back open after a jar of salsa led to $20,000 in repairs.

The town of Needham's Park and Recreation Department posted on Facebook that the lap pool at Rosemary pool was closed on July 14.

The reason was due to a glass bottle shattering and glass shards being found in the pool.

Pool officials issued a warning, reminding patrons that glass is allowed nowhere near the pool and that the incident was "avoidable and unfortunate."

According to Boston 25 News, Massachusetts State Senator Becca Rausch said on Facebook that it was a salsa jar that had broken, and the repairs cost up to $20,000, which included draining, cleaning, refilling, rebalancing and retesting the pool.
