Sarah Brucker died as a result of soot, smoke inhalation



DELAFIELD (WITI) -- The Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office released a cause-of-death report on Tuesday, August 13th, following a fatal fire in Delafield that killed 36-year-old Sarah Brucker, stating that Brucker died from soot and smoke inhalation. The manner of death is pending further investigation.

The five-alarm fire broke out last Wednesday night, August 7th.

Fire crews were called to Brucker’s home on Maple Ave. in Delafield just before 9 p.m., and over a dozen fire departments responded.

FOX6 News has obtained a search warrant related to the Delafield fire case.

The search warrant, released to FOX6 News on Tuesday, August 13th reveals an iPhone and Dell laptop were recovered from Brucker's home.
