Satellite sites picked by Medical College

WAUWATOSA (AP) -- The Medical College of Wisconsin has selected sites for satellite campuses in the Green Bay area and in central Wisconsin.

Officials say construction will begin next spring at St. Norbert College in De Pere to accommodate Medical College education and research. St. Norbert offered to incorporate the medical school into a science building expansion that's already on the books. A $41 million fund-raising effort is under way.

The suburban Milwaukee-based Medical College also announced Monday it will locate offices, classrooms, student support services, laboratories and a clinical simulation center at various Wausau locations, including University of Wisconsin-Marathon County and Northcentral Technical College.
