BROWN DEER (WITI) -- He has served for more than 40 years, and at the end of this week, Brown Deer's Police Chief will say goodbye.
Chief Steven Rinzel is retiring at the end of the week.
Rinzel says it's gotten harder to work 60-hour weeks at the age of 64, but he says he's loved working in the community.
He says now, it's time to give someone else a chance to serve.
"There comes a point in time when you understand it's time to turn around and do something else in your life, and give someone else an opportunity to come in and do the same job that I've done for a long time," Chief Rinzel said.
Rinzel says he'll be using his free time to help take care of his three grandsons.
