Search underway for Shiba Inu, missing since Friday
GREENDALE (WITI) -- There's an effort underway to locate a young female Shiba Inu that went missing from the Village of Greendale on Friday, January 24th.
The dog's name is Gypsy -- and it was last seen near Grange and Northway in Greendale.
"She was seen in the woods off 76th and Grange on Friday. Nothing Saturday or Sunday. Then Monday I got a call from MADACC that somebody had spotted her off 68th and Armour, off of Layton," Gypsy's owner, Amber Hill said.
On Tuesday morning, January 28th, the dog was spotted again near 72nd and Armour just north of Layton.
Gypsy weighs less than 20 pounds and has short, black and white fur. There's a great deal of concern because while Gypsy has been gone, it has been bitter cold outside.
If you happen to see Gypsy, you're urged to call 414-758-0643. Please do not call or whistle because Gypsy will run. Instead, try to lure Gypsy with food/treats -- and call the phone number listed here immediately.
