MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 40-year-old Edward Tillman, one of three motorcyclists involved in a traffic accident near 60th and Carmen Friday, March 29th, has died as result of his injuries. 41-year-old Lamar Dunson of Milwaukee was pronounced dead Friday following the crash.
According to police, Tillman died Tuesday night, April 2nd from multiple blunt force injuries.
According to police, Dunson and Tillman along with another motorcyclist were traveling southbound on N. 60th Street at speeds near 90mph when the crash occurred.
Authorities say Dunson and Tillman struck a Chevy Cavalier driven by a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman who was attempting to take a westbound turn onto W. Carmen Avenue from northbound N. 60th Street.
Dunson was killed when the motorcycle that he was operating struck the Chevy Cavalier -- Tillman sustained severe bodily injury and was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The third rider avoided the accident and after a short while, fled the scene.
According to officials, Tillman was in hypovolemic shock upon arrival to the hospital. Authorities say he sustained several fractures including pelvis, sacral, shoulder, radius, right finger, right fibula and right foot fractures, also a small laceration to the spleen, bladder and urethral injuries, colon injury and liver laceration.
Authorities say Tillman died as the result of his injuries Tuesday, April 2nd.
