Seeking a suspect: Walgreens on West Brown Deer robbed at gunpoint Sunday afternoon
BROWN DEER (WITI) -- Brown Deer police are seeking the suspect responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at the Walgreens store on West Brown Deer Road on Sunday afternoon, August 3rd.
It happened at the Walgreens store near 60th and West Brown Deer just before 3:00 p.m.
Police say a suspect entered the store and approached the register. He removed a firearm from his waistband, and showed it to the clerk.
Police say he told the clerk: "Don't look at me. Don't move, or I'm coming back here."
Police say the clerk removed the till from the register and the suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled the store on foot -- possibly headed northbound on North 60th Street.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, about 30 years old, 5'11" to 6' tall, weighing around 160 pounds.
Police say he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black shorts, black shoes and a baseball-style hat with a red bill.
No one was injured during this incident.
