Rollover crash in the Marquette Interchange



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Several people were hurt after a collision in the Marquette Interchange early Saturday, November 29th. That collision led to both vehicles rolling over on southbound I-43 near Wells St. The collision happened shortly after 3:30 a.m.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says one person was driving recklessly and rear-ended the other vehicle. That caused both vehicles to roll over.

Officials say the driver that caused the wreck was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated causing injury. That driver also had three warrants for operating after revocation in the cities of West Allis, New Berlin and Greenfield.

A family of three was in the vehicle that was struck. A man, pregnant woman and a two-year-old child were taken to a hospital for possible injuries.
