Sex offenders moved from home in Brownsville, denied in Reeseville could be placed in Lomira
LOMIRA -- Two convicted sex offenders, moved from a home they were placed at in Brownsville, and denied the ability to move into a home in Reeseville may now be coming to Lomira in Dodge County.
Some living in Lomira have just learned of plans for a home that was put up for sale. The home's owner, who sold the home to an LLC, said she had no idea sex offenders may be moving in. If she had known that, she told FOX6 News she would not have sold her house.
The placement of Robert Larson and Jonathan Miller has been preliminarily approved by a circuit court. Larson and Miller are currently at the Sandridge Secure Treatment Center in Mauston.

Larson and Miller were sent back to Sandridge after their removal from a home in Brownsville in 2015. This, after it was learned that the convicted sex offenders were living next door to 11-year-old twins who lost their mother following a brain aneurysm.
The children's two grandmothers spoke out against the placement of Larson and Miller.
They experienced enough trauma in their young lives. They don't need this. They are terrified. The children are going to have a sense of fear and anxiety," Mary Wondra told FOX6's Myra Sanchick.

Larson was convicted of first degree sexual assault in 1994, involving a 10-year-old girl and a woman, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Miller was convicted of sexually assaulting five-year-old and seven-year-old girls in 2002.
Earlier this year, Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt spoke out against placement of the convicted sex offenders at a home in Reeseville. Sheriff Schmidt said it was found that there are a number of homes that fall between 1,500 and 2,000 feet from the Neuberger Road address in Reesville. Schmidt said 14 children live in these homes, and there are eight additional children who visit these homes on a regular basis. Thirteen children attend school at one of the homes Monday through Friday. One of the homes serves as a summer daycare, Sheriff Schmidt said.

Officials later learned the home on Neuberger Road in Reeseville was unable to be purchased by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services because the home was no longer on the market.
As for the home in Lomira, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office is conducting a census to see whether there are children living within 1,500 to 2,000 feet of the home.
"I said one (person) lives here -- well, two. There's me and my dog," Bob Gregory said.
Gregory told FOX6's Myra Sanchick he didn't have knowledge of the plan for the home.
"The plans are bologna. I don't -- I got eight great-grandchildren. They come out here all the time," Gregory said.

Gregory said he lives for visits from his great-grandchildren, who spend most of the summer at his home.
"My wife didn't live to see them, but I did and you're not taking that away from us now," Gregory said.
Law enforcement officials said they are under order not to talk about plans for Larson and Miller to potentially move into the home.
Gregory said no one told him the truth.
"All I can say is nobody's gonna hurt my grandchildren. Nobody's gonna come around and touch my grandchildren. I don't care who they are what they are. No," Gregory said.

A meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday night at the Lomira Town Hall.
If the census survey comes back and shows no children living within close proximity of the home, the court will likely approve this placement on May 17th.
