SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- A 21-year-old Sheboygan County resident was transported via Flight for Life after being thrown from a snowmobile near the intersection of County Highway F and Mill Road in the Town of Lima.
The incident occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th.
Authorities say preliminary investigation indicates the 21-year-old snowmobile operator was traveling southbound when approximately 200-yards east of the intersection of County Highway F and Mill Road, when they lost control and was ejected when the snowmobile rolled.
Officials say the patient was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, with non-life threatening injuries.
The agencies that assisted with this incident are Oostburg Ambulance, Orange Cross Ambulance, Waldo Fire Department, Adell First Responders, and Flight for Life.
The Wisconsin DNR are investigating this incident.
