Sheriff Clarke to provide testimony in D.C. at hearing to announce Attorney General nomination
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke has received an invitation from the Chairman of the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Senator Charles E. Grassley (IA), to provide testimony at the upcoming Attorney General nomination hearing.
Sheriff Clarke will speak on Thursday, January 29th, at the 10:00 a.m. (EST) hearing regarding the nomination of Loretta Lynch to replace Eric Holder as U.S. Attorney General.
The hearing will take place in the Hart Senate Office Building in Room 216.
