MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's officials tell FOX6 News piles of shotgun shell casings were discovered near the Milwaukee Art Museum on Saturday, December 5th.
Sheriff's officials say around 11:00 a.m., deputies responded to the area near the Calatrava after a citizen observed two men dumping piles of debris there.
Deputies located 18 separate piles.
The debris consisted of clay pigeons and inert plastic shotgun shell casings.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office detectives are now investigating.
