rosales

FOX6 News spoke with Rosales on Sunday, January 6th. He said he is angry about the way law enforcement handled his arrest, but equally frustrated by his own decisions.

"I was at my cousin's house having a couple of beers. He told me not to leave and I left. At that time, I had about six beers. I shouldn't have been on the road. I should have been home sleeping. I was driving and I shouldn't have been behind the wheel. It was negligence. I take responsibility for that," Rosales said.

Rosales says he is fortunate to be alive following his drive.

"I knew I shouldn't get behind the wheel. The reality is I need to change my life. I'm 40 years old. I'm not getting any younger and if I catch a fifth OWI the judge isn't going to be lenient. He's going to throw the book at me," Rosales said.
