MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a report of shots fired into a vehicle and two buildings on the city's west side on Thursday afternoon, May 22nd. One of those buildings was at the Harley-Davidson corporate offices.
The incident happened near 34th and Juneau at about 4:20 p.m. Thursday. A 23-year-old man was seated in an SUV with a 21-year-old female relative when a known suspect fired shots toward the victims, striking the SUV several times.
At least two of the rounds, fired in a westward direction, missed the SUV and struck area buildings – a vacant store near 35th and Juneau and a building on the Harley-Davidson campus near 37th and Juneau.
A source tells FOX6 News the bullet went through a window and ended up in that Harley-Davidson conference room. Several people were inside at the time -- but none were hurt.
No one was injured as a result of the shots fired and Milwaukee police are seeking the known suspect.
