Six deadly mass shooting incidents in Wisconsin since 2004

WISCONSIN -- After the mass shooting incident at the Azana Salon & Spa on Sunday, October 21st, Wisconsin has now seen six such deadly shooting incidents over the past eight years.

The first was in November of 2004 in Sawyer County during hunting season. Six hunters were killed and two were wounded by 36-year-old Chai Vang. Vang is now serving life in prison.

In March of 2005, 44-year-old Terry Ratzmann burst into a church service being held by a Church of Living God congregation and fired 22 rounds before shooting himself. He killed seven others in that service.

Ratzmann shot the church’s pastor and the pastor’s family before moving on to others in the conference room at the hotel.

All reports following this shooting indicate Ratzmann acted alone. It also says six of the seven victims were shot in the back and that Ratzmann stopped once to reload.

In June of 2007, five people were killed by a gunman inside a Delavan home. 23-year-old Ambrosio Analco killed his twin infant sons, their mother and two others, before shooting himself. Analco's one-year-old daughter was also shot, but survived.

Four months later, in October of 2007, six young adults were murdered during a party in Crandon. 20-year-old Forest County Sheriff's deputy Tyler Peterson opened fire inside his ex-girlfriend's apartment. Peterson then turned the gun on himself.

In August of 2012, 40-year-old Wade Michael Page killed six and wounded four, including an Oak Creek police lieutenant when he opened fire at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek during Sunday morning services. Page killed himself after he was shot by an Oak Creek police officer.

On Sunday, October 21st, 2012, 45-year-old Radcliffe Haughton killed three and wounded four when he opened fire inside the Azana Salon & Spa early Sunday afternoon. Haughton'
