TOWN OF SAUKVILLE (WITI) -- Several fire departments were called out to a pole barn fire in the Town of Saukville early Thursday morning, March 5th.
It happened on Blueberry Road shortly before 1:00 a.m.
According to officials, workers were in an adjacent building tending to calves when they heard a loud noise and saw smoke. Upon arrival, the deputy found a skid steer on fire in the pole barn and unsuccessfully attempted to extinguish it.
Fire departments from Fredonia, Waubeka, Cedarburg, Belgium, Port Washington, Saukville, Grafton, Mequon, Thiensville, Fillmore, Random Lake, Cedar Grove, Adell, Boltonville, Silver Creek, and Germantown responded and assisted in extinguishing the fire.
No animals were injured in the fire.
