SLOW GOING: Serious crash on I-94 at Moorland Rd. created massive backup

WAUKESHA CO. (WITI) -- Traffic was extremely slow-going during rush hour after all lanes of I-94 were temporarily shut down near Moorland Rd. due to a serious crash on Thursday afternoon, May 29th.

The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of I-94 just before 4:00 p.m. and apparently involved three vehicles.

A Waukesha County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman tells FOX6 News one serious injury has been reported in this crash -- and says "several people" are involved.

Flight for Life responded to the scene -- and all traffic diverted off at Moorland Road.

As of 5:15 p.m., all lanes of traffic were reopened.

The scene was cleared just after 5:30 p.m.
