HUSTISFORD (WITI) -- Hustisford in Dodge County experienced damage as a result of the storms that moved through the state on Sunday, November 17th.
"It was here and gone," one Hustisford resident told FOX6 News.
FOX6 News found wind damage in the area, and the strong winds were able to damage shingles and siding on one home, while a home just yards away remained relatively untouched.
Hustisford's Town Hall lost some shingles as well, and its flag pole was bent by the powerful winds.
Dave Vinz's home was one of those damaged by Sunday's storms.
"Blew our barn door off. Blew the windows out of our porch, so we have to redo those again," Vinz said.
What wasn't nailed down was tossed aside, or in a few cases, uprooted.
"Two spruce trees that were in our front yard -- one's completely pulled out from the ground and one's snapped off about eight-foot high," Vinz said.
Vinz says he didn't hear tornado sirens sounding, and another resident reported hearing them after things had settled down.
"Which is more of a testament I think that this came and went in literally under a minute," that Hustisford resident told FOX6 News.
