St. Francis police investigating robbery of Associated Bank

ST. FRANCIS -- St. Francis police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred just before noon on Monday, December 3rd. 

Police say a black man entered the Associated Bank, located in the 3700 block of S. Kinnickinnic Ave. and approached the teller window demanding money. The man did not display a weapon, but implied he had a weapon. 

The man received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot.

Police say it is believed the man entered a waiting vehicle parked in the vicinity of the bank.

The man is described as being between 5'3" and 5'4" tall, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds, wearing an olive-colored hooded jacket, a black ski mask, dark-colored cargo pants and black and white Chuck Taylor style tennis shoes.

The vehicle is described as possibly a light grey or white, older, smaller style vehicle.
