Superhero for a day: Gotham has Batman...South Florida has Striker Boy!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Gotham may have Batman -- but South Florida has a superhero of its own!

Jaylen Hyde is a nine-year-old boy from Coral Springs, Florida.

Jaylen has leukemia.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida was able to make Jaylen's 9th birthday special by making his wish come true!

Jaylen was transformed into "Striker Boy" -- and was given a mission to save the day!

As Striker Boy, he had the duty of preventing the villain "Sneaky Pete" from causing trouble in South Florida.

WSVN in Miami/Fort Lauderdale reports Sneaky Pete -- a mean half alligator, half man was on the loose in South Florida.

Jaylen was given a superhero costome and his superhero powers were activated.
