SURG Restaurant Group, Ryan Braun end business relationship
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- SURG Restaurant Group announced on Thursday, September 5th that is has decided to end its business relationship with Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun.
SURG said in a news release it will keep Ryan Braun’s Graffito open until the end of 2013 to honor its pre-existing obligations to its customers and employees, but will close its doors after the holiday season. Ryan Braun’s name will be removed from the restaurant. SURG also said it will change the name of the 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield and its planned Bayshore Town Center restaurant, which also had been slated to be another 8-Twelve location.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will continue his relationship with the restaurant group, with a focus on community relations and charitable activities.
