Suspect in custody after shooting on Monday afternoon

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred near N. 76th Street and Townsend Street on Monday afternoon, February 24th.

The shooting happened just before 2:00 p.m.

Police say the 23-year-old victim was dropped off at St. Joseph's Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say a suspect is in custody in this case.
