Suspicious death investigated in Town of Waterford

WATERFORD (WITI) -- The Racine County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of a 52-year-old Town of Waterford man on Monday, August 19th.

Officials responded to the victim's residence on Monday -- and found him unresponsive. Due to the suspicious nature of the death, an investigation was launched. An autopsy was conducted on the victim on Tuesday -- and officials are awaiting toxicology results.

In the meantime, investigators arrested a 42-year-old Town of Burlington woman in connection with the case.

The names of the suspect and the victim are not being released at this time.
