Sussex school bus accident; boy that was killed remembered with tribute
SUSSEX, Wis. - There was a touching tribute Wednesday night, Jan. 8, at Hamilton High School, as the wrestling teammates of the 5-year-old boy killed last week in a bus accident honored him.
The club held a moment of silence before a demonstration and match to remember Finn Katona.
He was a member of the Mini Sabercats (5K) team and his name is now part of the high school's wrestling mat.

"Everyone's talking about it now. Everyone will be talking about it for a couple months. But in a couple years, we want Finn to be remembered," said Mickey Sommerfeld with the Jr. Chargers Wrestling Club. "In a couple years, in a decade, we want that label, 'For Finn Katona, Saberkitten,' on the mat as long as there's a Jr. Chargers/Sabercat Youth Wrestling Program."
Finn's dad also coaches in the program.
His funeral is set for Saturday, Jan. 11, in Menomonee Falls. He's remembered as a "joyful presence that radiated to others."

"This is for Finn," said coach Travis Buchholz. "We were grateful to have him as part of our team."
Instead of flowers for Katona’s funeral, the family asks for donations to a memorial fund that will be used for the "betterment of children in the communities Finn has touched."
