WISCONSIN -- Wisconsin candidate for U.S. Senate Tommy Thompson got an endorsement from rocker Ted Nugent.
Nugent calls Thompson a "true patriot."
Nugent is a big backer of gun-owner rights, and points to Thompson's similar views on second amendment rights.
Thompson is one of five people running for Senate - Eric Hovde, Jeff Fitzgerald and Mark Neumann are the other Republicans. Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is the only Democrat in the race.
