Three displaced following fire on W. Eggert Pl. near 48th

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Fire crews responded to the scene of a structure fire early Monday morning, June 3rd on W. Eggert Place near 48th in Milwaukee.

According to authorities, crews responded to the four-family structure around 1:41 a.m. after a fire broke on the second floor kitchen.

No injuries were sustained as a result of the fire. However, three individuals were displaced.

The fire caused $30,000 in damage to the building.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
