Three injured in head-on collision in Dodge County; alcohol believed to be factor
DODGE COUNTY -- The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash on CTH G south of Hawk Road in Dodge County late Tuesday night, January 26th. Three people were taken to the hospital as a result of the crash.
Authorities say a Ford truck and a Pontiac sedan collided on CTH G near Hawk Road.
Preliminary investigation shows a 34-year-old man from Beaver Dam was operating a Ford truck south on CTH G near Hawk Road. An 18-year-old man from Beaver Dam was operating a Pontiac sedan north on CTH G with a minor male passenger when the vehicles collided head-on.
Alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
The 34-year-old man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Beaver Dam EMS to Beaver Dam Hospital.
The 18-year-old male sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital before being flown to UW Hospital in Madison. His condition is unknown.
The male passenger was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital by Beaver Dam EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
CTH G was closed for over four hours while the crash was being investigated.
Assisting at the scene was; Beaver Dam EMS, Beaver Dam Fire, Beaver Dam Police Department, WI State Patrol, Med Flight helicopter, Dodge County Emergency management, and DCERT.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
