Toyota has issued a recall for its 2023-2024 Sequoia Hybrid vehicles over a potential issue with the tow hitch.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the tow hitch cover may detach and can become a road hazard, increasing the possibility of a crash.

The tow hitch cover is attached to the rear bumper.

The recall is expected to affect more than 43,000 cars.

Drivers are urged to take their vehicles to a dealer to have the tow hitch cover replaced, and the rear bumper modified, free of charge.
