Tractor, bales of alfalfa destroyed by fire in Town of Raymond
RACINE COUNTY -- A tractor and several bales of alfalfa were destroyed by fire late Saturday, January 23rd in the Town of Raymond.
Deputies from the Racine County Sheriff's Office responded to a farm on 124th St. around 10:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a barn fire.
The homeowner indicated the fire was between two barns which contained 100 sheep and 50 cows.
Once on the scene, deputies saw flames coming from a tractor, which was under an overhang and between two barns. There were bales of alfalfa behind the tractor which were also burning.
The animals were removed from the barns to an outdoor pasture. Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire.
Foul play is not suspected. No people or animals were injured in the fire.
