WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Waukesha Dispatch Center received a call from citizens and Canadian National Railroad on Saturday that a train had hit a person
It happened shortly before 11 a.m. on the tracks at Moreland Boulevard. Upon arrival, police found a deceased male near that intersection.
The deceased is a non-railroad employee, a news release said, but no other details were provided. Police said the deceased was a pedestrian.

The death is being investigated by the Waukesha Police Department, the Waukesha Medical Examiner's Office and the railroad.
The intersections of Whiterock Avenue and Moreland as well as Whiterock Avenue and Perkins Avenue were closed as authorities investigated.
No other injuries were reported.
