Dump truck crashes into school bus, Waukesha
WAUKESHA, Wis. - A truck crashed into a school bus at the intersection of East Moreland Boulevard and Wolf Road in Waukesha on Wednesday morning, March 6, officials said. On board the bus were 34 students and the bus driver.
Officials said around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, the Waukesha Emergency Communications Center received multiple 911 calls about the crash.
A School Resource Officer (SRO) was on the scene in less than two minutes providing aid to the students from the nearby middle school. Waukesha firefighters provided triage and treatment to those involved.

Eight students were identified with having minor injuries with one being transported for precautionary measures.
Waukesha's Major Crash Task Force is reviewing the facts of this incident and will determine if citations will be issued. At this time, investigators believe the truck did not stop for the red light and struck the side of the bus.
