Trump, Pence and Kaine: Democratic, Republican presidential candidates heading to Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin becomes a huge focal point on Friday, August 5th. Candidates representing both political parties are coming to the state. From Donald Trump to Tim Kaine, voters here will get to see and hear from the candidates.
On Thursday, August 4th, three of Wisconsin's top ranking Republicans said they will not attend a rally for Donald Trump being held in Green Bay on Friday.
On the Democratic side of the race, volunteers were busy making signs for an event with Democratic vice presidential nominee, Tim Kaine in Milwaukee.

"We want to be sure he feels the love in Wisconsin. Make sure he feels welcome," Jack Styler, volunteer said.
The Clinton/ Kaine ticket is understandably not feeling love from top state Republicans. But if you ask some about Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, as FOX6 News did on Thursday, love isn't the word that comes to mind for him either.
"While I certainly don't endorse everything the Republican nominee has done, I do believe when I look at her (Hillary Clinton) that she's unfit," said Governor Scott Walker.

Wisconsin's U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, appeared at the Wisconsin State Fair as well -- echoing similar thoughts about Donald Trump.
"Sometimes it seems like our nation is coming apart. We need political leadership that pulls us together. That's what I'm trying to provide. That's what Paul Ryan's trying to provide. That's what Republicans are trying to provide," said Johnson.
Governor Walker said he may show up for Trump events in the future, but this Friday he's got other plans.

"I'm in Bayfield County doing what people elected me to do, being governor," said Walker.
Senator Johnson says he too has prior plans. Those plans will be campaigning for his own reelection and attending rallies with Republican Paul Ryan.
Ryan is not rescinding his endorsement of Trump, although Mr. Trump is refusing to back the Wisconsin congressman in his reelection race.
