Two-alarm fire damages home near 30th and North

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Fire officials responded to the scene of a two-alarm house fire near 30th and North Friday morning, May 10th.

According to officials, they received a call around 7 a.m.

Authorities say the increased winds hindered their efforts to gain a foothold on the flames, allowing the fire to spread to two other buildings.

Officials say no one was inside the building when the fire broke out.

No additional details have been released at this time -- including the cause of the fire or the amount of damage sustained.
